Coulter Subject of Election Fraud Complaint

Allegations were filed by a critic

The state Elections Enforcement Commission says it is investigating a complaint that conservative columnist Ann Coulter voted in Connecticut while living in New York.

The allegations were filed by Daniel Borchers, who writes a blog critical of Coulter. In his complaint, he says Coulter voted by absentee ballot using her parents' address in New Canaan, Conn. in both 2002 and 2004, while she lived in Manhattan.

Nancy Nicolescu, a spokeswoman for the commission, said the complaint was received on Feb. 2 and is being investigated. She said that is standard procedure with complaints that allege election fraud.

A message seeking comment was left Monday with Coulter's publicist.
