In a state of confusion, a driver maneuvered his or her car onto a Long Island Rail Road platform Saturday evening, police said.

The driver somehow drove onto the westbound platform at Mineola train station around 5 p.m., according to Nassau County police, who said the driver was "confused."

A photo sent to NBC 4 New York shows the white sedan partially on the platform, its front end hovering over the train tracks as people look on.

No injuries have been reported, police said. It wasn't immediately known what happened to the driver.

The accident led to temporary delays and train cancellations on the Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay branches, but trains were reported to be up and running shortly after 6 p.m.

The platform was not damaged and all tracks were operational after the accident, according to the MTA, which said it's investigating the incident.
