Church Bells Toll 1 Week After Binghamton Massacre

Some 300 people gathered in Binghamton to mark the one-week anniversary of an immigration center shooting that left 14 people dead.

City churches rang their bells 14 times Friday at 10:30 a.m. -- the time of the shootings. Fourteen tulips were planted at a city park in honor of each of the dead after an interfaith prayer service. Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan says the community, by standing together, will mend but will never forget its loss.

One week ago, Jiverly Wong walked into the American Civic Association and opened fire, killing 10 immigrants and two employees before turning the gun on himself.
