A man was struck and killed by a cement truck while crossing a busy street in Queens Wedneday afternoon, police say.
The 60-year-old man, who has not been identified, was crossing Northern Boulevard near 34th Street in Astoria when the 2001 Mack cement truck hit him shortly after noon, police said.
Emergency responders found the victim unconscious and unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at Astoria General Hospital, according to police.
The 29-year-old driver stayed at the scene. It's not clear if charges will be filed.
