Binghamton Gunman Never Spoke, Just Shot: Victim

A man who was shot several times then threw himself over his dying wife's body to protect her during last week's shooting rampage in Binghamton, says the gunman never spoke but just walked in shooting.

Long Ho left the hospital briefly Thursday for the funeral of his wife, Lan Ho, who died in his arms after Jiverly Wong walked into an English class at the American Civic Association about 10:30 a.m. Friday and opened fire, squeezing off 98 shots in about a minute.

Wong killed 13 people, 11 of them immigrants, before killing himself.

The Hos came to the United States from Vietnam two years ago seeking a better life for their two children.

Long Ho says he'd like his wife to "go with God."
