Police say they've arrested a man in the 2012 killing of a 15-year-old girl in the Bronx. 

Luis Vega, 34, is charged with second-degree murder and criminal sex act in the smothering death of Destiny Sanchez, whose body was found inside the lobby of 640 Barretto St. in Hunts Point in November 2012. 

Law enforcement sources at the time said the girl had a bruise on her stomach and bleach was found on her body. 

It's not clear whether Vega knew Sanchez. Attorney information was not immediately available. 

Family friends and relatives said Sanchez was a "happy, respectful young girl."
