50-Year-Old Man Beaten to Death by 2 Men in the Bronx: Police

A 50-year-old Bronx man was found dead after he was kicked and punched by two men early Saturday morning, police say.

The victim, identified as Pedro Adorno, was approached by the two suspects near Taylor and Westchester avenues in the Soundview neighborhood at 4:30 a.m., according to police.

The two men punched and kicked Adorno in the head and face repeatedly before taking off, police said.

He suffered grave facial and head injuries and was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police haven’t said what may have led to the deadly beating.

Surveillance video release by police Saturday shows the two men the NYPD is looking for. Authorities believe they’re in their mid-to-late 30s.
