A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Brooklyn Sunday morning, authorities said.
Police responded to a call of a man shot on Van Siclen Avenue in Brownsville just after 10 a.m. and found Troy Mitchell with a gunshot wound to his torso.
Mitchell was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
According to police, the gunman was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was last seen fleeing on foot toward Pitkin Avenue with a black bag.
