Police are looking for two men who answered a Craigslist ad to buy a MacBook Pro, but instead stole the laptop at gunpoint.

The robbery happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 inside an apartment building on West 142nd Street in Harlem.

Police say the 25-year-old victim walked into the building to meet someone who had expressed interest in buying the computer via Craigslist. When he got there, police say two men took the suspect to the third floor of the building where one of the men took out a silver gun and demanded his belongings.

The suspects took the victim’s iPhone, the laptop and $50 in cash before fleeing, police say. The victim was uninjured.

Police released a video of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
