The first New York City school forced to close because of swine flu is holding its graduation.
Seniors from the St. Francis Preparatory School in Queens are graduating on Saturday in a ceremony on the campus of nearby St. John's University.
St. Francis was closed for five days in late April after hundreds of students came down with the flu. The school has 2,700 students. Attendance is now back to normal.
About 50 other city public schools were shuttered because of the H1N1 virus, but only a few remain closed.
As of Friday, city health officials confirmed 623 cases of the H1N1 virus. Eight people have died of swine flu-linked causes.
