Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Queensboro Bridge

A woman was killed and three people were injured in a motorcycle crash on an exit ramp of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge early Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to police, two motorcycles, each carrying two passengers, collided while exiting the bridge near 60th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan, just before 3:30 a.m.

A 32-year-old woman riding on the back of one of the motorcycles was thrown to the ground and then run over by by the other bike, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The three others were taken to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

Police have yet to release the identity of the woman who died, pending family notification.

The exit ramp where the accident occurred has since reopened after being closed for several hours while police investigated the crash.
