The lambing season has begun for family-run Gwndwnwal Farm in South East Wales, with 1-minute-old lambs taking in their surroundings and ewes resting from the exertion of birth. The Brute family, who own the farm, expects to have over 1,000 babies from 600 ewes this season, which started in late January and generally ends in April.
