Want to Dress Like Nicole Kidman?

Pick up one of Farragamo's limited-edition pairs inspired by the movie "Australia."

Much has already been said about the costumes in "Australia," Baz Luhrmann's new epic, cinematic, lots-of-other-big-deal-adjectives movie with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Even more than the plot and the talent, however, is the buzz surrounding costume designer Catherine Martin's work— a mix of 1930s glamour and good old fashioned safari chic. Apparently, FabSugar even got invited to a celebratory party at a Ferragamo store in San Francisco. (We weren't invited.) Apparently, Lady Ashley (Kidman's character) wears a pretty signature pair of Ferragamos in the movie. According to Martin, "Ferragamo seemed like an obvious partner; they have made shoes for aristocracy, royalty, and movie stars. And they had an enormous archive of shoes. They were groundbreakers and I thought what a great collaboration." So great, in fact, that the results are now available for a limited time in Farragamo stores nationwide. Check out FabSugar's slideshow of all the pieces here.
