Rubik's Cube Content Raises Money for Kids

More than 50 people have competed in a Rubik's Cube tournament to raise money for a children's advocacy center just north of New York City.

The competition was hosted by Westchester County cubers Ethan Rosen and Harris Karsch. The 16-year-olds say the puzzle-solving is fun and has helped them improve their memorization and geometry skills.

The competition was held Saturday on the campus of the Westchester Medical Center. It benefited the Children's Advocacy Center at the Westchester Institute for Human Development.

The institute serves more than 10,000 people in Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley region.
