New York real estate's top ducks came out to strut on Thursday night at the Hilton in Midtown for the Real Estate Board of New York's 113th annual awards banquet. Perhaps it was our reportorial cynicism, but we expected a subdued, even somber crowd as compared to previous years.
Not so.
The banquet was typically jovial and boisterous, helped along by a tide of open bar, though the dinner ended amid a vibe that one attendee described as a gigantic job interview. read more »
