Gwyneth Paltrow Is Designing Clothes Now

We thought GOOP-y Gwyneth Paltrow might have learned a lesson from her friend (or foe?) Katie Holmes and left designing clothes to the professionals. But in news we knew was coming, she hasn't. She's collaborating with French label ZOEtee's on a fall 2009 capsule collection called ZOEtee's Loves Gwyneth. The collection consists of jersey basics, according to British Elle, as well as "some glam, 1970s inspired looks and pieces influenced by masculine tailoring." Gwyneth will reveal the clothes in London next week, but we can see them in our heads already — and they look like a cross between the Lauren Conrad Collection and J.Jill. If Gwyneth insists on doing this to us, couldn't she have made it funny and put "GOOP" in the name? Like "Gwyneth's GOOP Suits" or "Gwyneth's GOOP-y Gauchos" or "GOOP, Not Scoop"? Or simply "GOOP You Can Wear"? Blame her for how gross those all sound.
