Betsey Johnson's New Collaboration Features Gorilla Sleeves

Betsey Johnson Archive.

We're convinced that collaborations are the hottest way for designers to have a moment (hello, Jil Sander for Uniqlo). And now, Betsey Johnson's jumping onboard at the Collaboration Station to launch a new line called Betsey Johnson Archive with Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Opening Ceremony. The 35-piece capsule collection will feature looks inspired by Betsey, but updated with new fabrics and accessories. We snagged the first two looks from the collection, and so far we see a cherry-print onesie with ruffles, a gorilla-sleeve jacket (such a fall trend), and pair of knit shorts with a huge zipper. Talk about easy access. The rest of the collection hits Opening Ceremony and select Betsey Johnson stores this fall.
