Eater Inside: The Oak Room

The photographs above capture the soon-to-open landmarked Oak Room that is still, somewhat surprisingly, not entirely completed (note the artfully tight shots). The hope is that the finishing touches will be, ahem, finished—and that another not so minor issue of getting the gas turned on is dealt with—by the projected opening on November 8.

The great news is so far, she's looking pretty good. It's not the best time to be opening a grand, ornate, white tableclothed homage to excess and the finer things, but they have a number of people rooting for their success.
