It seems odd given the building's long controversial history, but the above photos represent the first time we think we've ever had a look inside Swig Equities' condo conversion of the old Sheffield megarental. There's no denying this 45th floor 3BR apartment has some killer views, but yowza, some might call that a "pre-2008" price. No wonder the square-footage (1,647) isn't mentioned in the listing. One commenter mentioned that apartments in the building "are actually selling for way above the original offering price," but even that guess was only $4.499 million. And to the person who remarked, "And the band played on...," all we can say is you're right!
