Maybe Liev Schreiber is a Republican? The actor and his Aussie, Naomi Watts, were one of the big headline-grabbing celebrity couples that signed up early for a hot piece of glass at One Madison Park—the 60-story Barack Obama of buildings. In fact, Schwatts bought two units (listed at $2.775M and $3.275M) on the 27th floor, which gave them 2,800 square feet of space in the brother building to Rem Koolhaas's creation at 23 East 22nd Street. Well, Braden Keil reports that Naomi Watts was recently spotted checking out something that's a bit more...McCain. Specifically, this $5.3 million duplex loft at Tribeca's 79 Laight Street, a former sugar warehouse built in 1853. The couple's two One Madison Park apartments have now been re-listed. Split up, they both have 2BRs and 2BA, but it would be a shame not to fulfill the promise and potential of these neighbors. It's a combination we can believe in.
