This Friday, January 23, marks the first event in the 2009 PS 29 Literary Salon, "An Evening of Fiction by Cecily von Ziegesar, Dominic Preziosi, and Julia Lichtblau." Cecily von Ziegesar (a PS 29 parent) is the author of the bestselling young adult series, Gossip Girl. You might know the tv show based on that book series (along with a spin-off show in the works!). At the event, she will read from her debut adult novel, Cum Laude, to be published by Hyperion in September 2009. You can purchase tickets for this event here. All ticket proceeds go to the PS 29 PTA.
