Closing Bell: Flea, Weather Be Damned

If you think the rain's been getting you down, try running a flea market! Both Brooklyn Flea markets are rain-or-shine, so a good share of our hearty vendors in Fort Greene will be sticking it out on Saturday; luckily, Sunday is looking a little better for Dumbo. Speaking of Dumbo, we're starting to ramp up the food under the bridge: This week we'll be adding Red Hook pupusas and Choice pastries to last week's original vendors like Stumptown Coffee and Blue Marble Ice Cream. The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays from 10 to 5 at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues; take the C train to Clinton-Washington or the G train to Clinton Avenue) and on Sundays from 11-6 in Dumbo underneath the Brooklyn Bridge at the corner of Water and New Dock Street.
