It pays not to be a glass-box condo these days in Williamsburg. According toThe Real Deal (and picked up by Curbed ), the Mason Fisk building at 72 Berry Street has sold 17 of its 26 units since hitting the market six weeks ago. The six-story 1909 loft building has stood out from the crowd because its gritty historic appeal, for sure. But it hasn't hurt either that asking prices are around $650 a foot, quite a bit less than nearby projects like Northside Piers. GMAP
