John McCain has repeatedly used music for his campaign without artist’s permission, and now he’s using network newscasters without their permission.
A source close to Couric told Access Hollywood the CBS news anchor was not happy after a McCain ad surfaced using an unauthorized portion of a CBS news segment with Couric addressing sexism in the 2008 Presidential campaign.
CBS responded to the campaign ad issuing a statement released to Access, saying, “CBS News does not endorse any candidate in the Presidential race. Any use of CBS personnel in political advertising that suggests the contrary is misleading.”
