It certainly speaks to the whimsical nature of designers Jeff Halmos and Sam Shipley that their website now offers a trove of curiously fun objects and miscellany for purchase—but not their apparel.
Launching today on the Shipley & Halmos site, you'll find the "Things!" store, where a range of limited-edition collectibles and ephemera reside for the taking. “This is a fun way for Sam and I to be creative and at the same time allow people who are fans of the brand to buy that creation, so to speak,” Halmos told WWD.
Right now you'll find fantastic treasures like a "S&H" class ring, designed in collaboration with Philip Crangi, a heavyweight canvas artist tote, and NYC-themed playing card set complete with a score pad, pencil and carrying case, among other charming items. New additions, will arrive throughout the year.
While we're thrilled with the holiday shopping prospects, we're looking even more forward to the debut of actual Shipley & Halmos clothing, which WWD indicates may come later.
