The Tory Burch sale kicked off this morning in midtown and by lunchtime one of our tipsters reported that the line was all the way down 36th Street.
After a long wait, however, the verdict was grim: Our valiant tipster reported that everyone was complaining about the lack of diversity in stock and there are no dresses. Racked seems to agree -- last year's wares were far better, even if the prices at this year's sale are pretty decent. Frankly, we'd rather hold out for the Rachel Comey sample sale tomorrow (details coming soon!), but for those desperate for anything Tory, we'd advise bringing a book or a magazine for the wait.
