Target feted Anna Sui's new Gossip Girl-inspired line last night in Soho -- attended, of course, by members of the Gossip Girl cast -- and over in Chelsea, dozens upon dozens of long-limbed models packed themselves into the Paul Rowland, Women & Supreme Management, and V Magazine party.
Both parties were, of course, ridiculously packed. Target decorated a Soho townhouse soup-to-nuts with chandeliers and finery, while members of the Gossip Girl cast like Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Jessica Szohr wandered around racks filled with colorful, ladylike pieces meant to represent each of the major characters on the hit show. Racked even spotted Mickey Boardman of Paper checking out at one register. The Soho space at 54 Crosby will be open 'til Saturday, and then Sunday the Anna Sui for Target collection will be available at Target stores nation wide!
The scene in Chelsea at the model-packed fest that was Paul Rowland, Women & Surpeme Management, and V Magazine's party, was quite a bit different. There was a wildly long wait for the freight elevator for the penthouse (which later apparently stopped going -- we took the stairs back down), the line for the bar was even longer, but the pretty people were definitely out in force. BryanBoy managed to TwitPic a crazy hot picture of Vlada, but we'll admit we were far more captivated by the rooftop scene -- all dreamy Christmas lights and sky views.
