Midwood: We heard some interesting intel from a reader, Brooklyn native, and Di Fara regular last night regarding the famously disorganized line: Instead of making everyone jostle for the attention of the legendary Dom, the restaurant now has an organized list with the names of customers and their orders. And when the pizza is ready, they actually call the person's name.
We thought it sounded too good to be true, and a call over to the pizza mecca reveals that the intel is about half right: "There is a list whenever I am working," says Dom's daughter, Margaret. "I think my brothers are starting following suit, but I'm not sure. I know the chaos and I really feel for everyone." So there you have it. Sometimes, when the right person is working, the ordering of and waiting for a $20 pie situation is back on the rails.
