It takes the same name as the old one, and throngs of fans still come to see the men in pinstripes, but it's hardly your father's Yankee Stadium. The new ballpark offers interesting contrasts, including more space but fewer seats, grandeur and intimacy and modern amenities with familiar field dimensions. Even the field lighting is reminiscent of the old yard. In a year of firsts, the many concession stands will be serving plenty of seconds.

  • Pooty I worked for Hunt Construction. I was a foreman at Citi Field. There are 3 Phillies Jerseys buried in the ball park. As a lifelong Phillies fan, I felt it was my duty to jinx the Mets.
