Too good to be true? Not necessarily. Even Martha Stewart approves.

The Brooklyn Pop-Up Wedding Chapel is here to help you save for things that last longer than a day.

Ah, for the good old days of weddingry, when the father of the bride paid for everything and all you had to do was show up, look good and send out thank you notes for your fish forks and gravy boats. (Of course, the "good old days" also involved stuff like measuring a bride's worth in cattle, so we won't dwell on them too much). Still: The cost to throw a wedding isn't going down (the average Manhattan hitchening costs about $26k), and these days that cash could come in awfully handy for something else, regardless of whose money it is.

Enter the Brooklyn Pop-Up Wedding Chapel. This four-week series starts as an expo of sorts, pointing newlyweds-to-be to low-budget (but still very stylish) options for every aspect of the reception and ceremony. Through June 20, a rotating series of goods and services providers will be on hand so you can shop for everything from the stationery to the dress to the photographer. Starting June 25, the Pop-Up will transform into an actual chapel, offering a wedding package where you (plus about 40 of your nearest and dearest) can get hitched by an officiant, toast avec champagne and even partake of cake for $500. And don't worry: It'll be stylish --after all, the staff of Martha Stewart Weddings is doing the set dressing.
