A worker was killed when he fell down a three-story shaft at an Upper East Side construction site Friday morning, police say.
Authorities say the 30-year-old worker fell at the site on East 87th Street and Lexington Avenue shortly after 9 a.m.
The unidentified worker was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital in critical condition, and was pronounced dead.
No further details were immediately released.
