A woman died after a two-car crash in Long Island Thursday morning, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 7 a.m. on Straight Path Road between 48th and 50th Street in North Lindenhurst, police said.
One of the cars involved was overturned because of the impact, authorities said.
A woman in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Straight Path Road between 48th Street and 50th Street was closed in both directions because of the accident, police said.
