Police are investigating after two senior citizens were found shot to death inside their Long Island home Tuesday evening.
According to detectives, police responded to a request for a well check at the home on Lambert Avenue in South Farmingdale just before 9 p.m. and discovered the victims.
The 74-year-old woman and 73-year-old man were found dead in their bedroom with gunshot wounds, police said.
Authorities are withholding their identities pending family notification.
