Fire may have been intentionally set, authorities say
A toddler and seven adults were hurt in the blaze, which authorities say may have been intentionally set.
A 2-year-old and a woman were rescued from a basement apartment during a Bronx fire that may have been deliberately set, authorities said.
They were among eight people, including three firefighters, hurt during the blaze at the two-story building.
FDNY Captain Joseph Principio from Ladder 58 said the fire was reported at about 6:15 a.m. Wednesday and was under control in about an hour.
The injured were taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
