MoMA Intern Dies in Roof Party Fall

The young woman slipped while dancing and fell four stories onto the street in Greenwich Village

An intern at the Museum of Modern Art died after falling off a roof during a party, authorities say.

Cindy Yeh, 23, of Brooklyn, slipped while dancing early Sunday and fell four stories onto the street in Greenwich Village, The New York Times reported. She died later at a hospital.

The museum said in a statement that it was "greatly saddened" by the loss of a "beloved member of the MoMA family."

Yeh attended the University of California, San Diego, and held several internships in Los Angeles in the art world before coming to New York.
