Explosion Kills 1 in Queens

A man was killed Monday by an explosion inside his Queens home, possibly from fireworks.

Sources tell NBC New York that fireworks may have exploded in his hands at the home on 111th Avenue in South Richmond Hill.

The man is described as in his 50s.

The bomb squad is investigating, in case there are other explosives in the house.
