Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect in an armed robbery at a Popeye's restaurant in Queens Sunday night.

Police said a heavy-set man in his 20s walked into the fast-food eatery at 117-25 Farmers Blvd. in the St. Albans section of Queens at about 10:05 p.m. Sunday. He allegedly approached the counter, showed a silver-colored gun and demanded cash from the register.

The robber took off with a bag of cash, then fled northbound on Farmers Boulevard toward Linden Boulevard, said police.

No one was injured.
