New York state environmental officials say they are streamlining the process for buying hunting licenses.
Licenses for the 2015-2016 hunting and trapping seasons go on sale starting Aug. 10.
The Department of Environmental Conservation says new user interfaces make selling licenses by agents and purchases by online customers easier.
There are about 1,300 license-issuing agents around the state.
