A mother who allegedly stabbed her two adult daughters inside a New Jersey apartment was arrested Saturday.
Authorities tell The Jersey Journal that the 46-year-old mother went to the Jersey City apartment shortly before 11 a.m. Friday and argued with one of her daughters, who lives in the unit. The mother then allegedly grabbed a 3-inch steak knife and stabbed the daughter three times in the arms.
When the second daughter tried to intervene, the mother allegedly stabbed her in the back and fled the scene. She was captured Saturday morning and faces numerous charges.
The victim stabbed in the arm was treated at the scene, while the other woman was treated at a hospital for wounds that weren't considered life-threatening. Authorities wouldn't identify the women because the case involved domestic violence.
