Police have arrested a man who allegedly took photos of an 8-year-old boy in the bathroom of a Long Island restaurant earlier this month.
Luis Flores Jr., 28, was arrested Thursday at his home in Dix Hills and is charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance.
Suffolk County police allege Flores was the man who leaned over a bathroom stall at the Hibachi Grill on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon on May 17 and took photos of a boy. The suspect was at the restaurant with a woman, police say.
Flores was arrested after police received several tips to its Crime Stoppers hotline.
Flores was expected to be released on bail, police said. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
