Two men were arrested Wednesday for allegedly stabbing a 49-year-old man multiple times in the back on an East Village Street in December, police said.
A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, allegedly plunged a knife into the back of the victim as he stood on East 9th Street near 2nd Avenue early on Dec. 5, police said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated and released.
The suspects, who live on the same block on the Upper West Side, were both charged with attempted murder and assault, police said.
It was not immediatly clear if they knew the victim or what led to the attack.
