LeBron House Hunts in Manhattan: Report

LeBron James may not be sold on playing for the New York Knicks yet, but he’s bought into the charm of one of Manhattan’s most coveted neighborhoods, the West Village.

Broker Dolly Lenz told The New York Post that the king of basketball has been eying several Manhattan pads but, “he seems to be set on that neighborhood.”

Last week, the Cleveland Cavalier basketball star toured a $12.95 million four-flour townhouse at 23 Perry Street that has been featured in several magazines and was formerly owned by Billy Joel and his ex-wife celebrity chef Katie Lee. Aside from having a kitchen built for a chef, the townhouse has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an elevator, indoor pool and garden with a sound system.

“His main concern is ceiling heights,” Lenz told The Post.

James also looked at an apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows on the 63rd floor in the Time Warner Building in Columbus Circle, which is going for $14.95 million.

After house-hunting he made other rounds while in town and was spotted at Avenue nightclub and the Upper East Side restaurant Serafina, according to Page Six.
