FBI Seeks NJ Bank Robber: “Armed, Dangerous”

A bank teller shot during a robbery in Mercerville, N.J. is undergoing surgery as the FBI seeks the gunman and robber, who's being described as armed and dangerous.

The robbery happened shortly after 10 a.m. at JP Morgan Chase at 1850 Klockner Rd. A man wearing  a black baseball cap, dark glasses, black gloves and tan work boots walked into the bank, approached the counter, and pointed a silver revolver at the teller, according to authorities. He fired a shot, wounding the teller.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the FBI at 973-792-3000.

The teller was taken to a nearby hospital to undergo surgery.
