A 9-year-old boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing the street in Brooklyn Saturday morning, police said.

According to authorities, the boy was crossing Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights against the light, when a livery cab traveling west struck him.

The driver stayed at the scene of the accident and no criminality is suspected, police said.

The boy was taken to Kings County Hospital with severe head trauma.
