Police are asking for the public's help locating a man suspected of groping a woman on a subway train in the East Village during the morning rush hour last Wednesday.
The 33-year-old victim was riding the southbound L train at 1st Avenue and East 14th Street at about 9:15 a.m. when a man standing behind her rubbed himself against her buttocks, police said Monday. He then ran off.
The woman was able to take photos of the man with her cellphone before he fled the train.
