Police are looking for a man who punched an 11-year-old girl in the face and stole her cellphone and bag.

Authorities say the girl was standing on the corner of East 187th Street and Bathgate Avenue at around 10 p.m. Dec. 18 when the man approached her. He punched her, then took her phone and bag, authorities say.

The girl refused medical attention at the scene and no other injuries were reported.

Police released a surveillance image of the suspect (above).
