CUTE ALERT: Mongoose Pups Arrive at Bronx Zoo

Three dwarf mongoose babies have been introduced as the newest additions to the Bronx Zoo.

Whether they're seeking shelter in a hollow log in their new home, playing around with each other or getting cleaned by their mama, these pups are just adorable.

A social creature that lives in small groups led by a dominant male and female, the dwarf mongoose is native to sub-Saharan Africa. And the animals are the smallest carnivores on the continent.

Stop by and see the three pups and their parents at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo Carter Giraffe Building. Also on exhibit are two dwarft mongooses in the Mouse House.
