A man was shot near a Brooklyn subway station Tuesday, and police are looking for the gunman.

The 24-year-old victim was shot in the torso near the Church Avenue subway station at Church Avenue and East 18th Street in Flatbush, just south of Prospect Park, at about 2 p.m., according to police.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

It's not clear if he was targeted or whether he knew the shooter.

Police are looking for a man wearing a red jump suit, who was last seen fleeing on East 18th Street.
