Body Found in Dumpster ID'd as Kidnapped Brooklyn Man

Police are investigating the kidnapping of Menachem Stark, shown above right, in Brooklyn on Thursday night.

Police said a body found in a Long Island Dumpster is a 39-year-old Brooklyn man who was kidnapped Thursday night.

The body was found in the Dumpster of a Great Neck Getty gas station on Cuttermill Road Friday afternoon, police said.

According to officials, two suspects approached Menachem Stark, shown in the inset photograph above, while he was leaving work on Rutledge Street in Williamsburg at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

The suspects forced Stark into a light colored 2006-2007 Dodge Caravan, police said. Surveillance cameras caught images of the car.

A law enforcement source said the body found on Long Island was somewhat burned.
