An 11-year-old boy is in the hospital after being struck by an ambulette in Washington Heights Tuesday afternoon.
FDNY said the boy was hit near 165th Street and Amsterdam Avenue shortly after 3 p.m.
He was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. His condition wasn't immediately clear.
The driver remained on the scene.
